How Bill Kristol's pro-Israel Group is Lying to You:
This article attacked ads accusing Rep. Rush Holt (D-N.J.) of getting a 100% approval rating from a muslim group supposedly backed by the terrorist organization Hamas. The group that accused Rep. Holt was called the Emergency Committee for Israel, and based this accusation on a rating they found online without bothering to investigate what that rating meant.
The fact that this article even had to be written shows that racism is still not entirely gone from our country. In this day and age, anyone of Arabic descent is thought of by most Americans as a terrorist. It is true that the September 11th attacks were carried out by followers of Islam, but this does not make every Islamic follower or every Arab a terrorist. Before people condemn Islam as a whole, they should remember that Christian followers are just as guilty of carrying out terror attacks; most recently, I read a story about a fanatical Christian group who were plotting to kill members of the FBI or something similar. Again, this doesn't make all Christians bad people, so I don't believe Islam followers should be stereotyped in that manner.
